Podtoid 98: Brad Nicholson's Hard Time [UPDATED] photo

This week, Brad Nicholson replaced Aaron Linde. In case you don't end up listening to the episode, just imagine a regular Podtoid episode and replace all uses of the word "boner" with "pecs."

As always, you can listen to the new episode here. Highlights include:

- Jim Sterling, King of Videogames Forever

- Metal Gear Solid 2 is bad, Jim is stupid

- Console-exclusive DLC

- Podtoid is recession-proof

- Lego Rock Band sounds ridiculous, no wait kinda cool, no wait ridiculous

- Post-show meat sweats

This week's most interesting question came from GoJohnnyGo. Just send your mailing address to podtoid@destructoid.com and we'll send you a Dtoid swag bag.

UPDATE: Looks like the version that was up a few hours ago had a borked-up intro. That was completely my fault, and has since been fixed.

right next to the comment box im typing in is a picture of hulk ripping apart wolverine from the new release posts.

I imagine that is what it looked like when Brad "replaced" Aaron on podtoid tonight.

Anybody know why it's showing up on iTunes as "destructoid's Podcast"?

I think it's hilarious that you nicknamed Samit "Brown Town". We had a fella that worked for our company that was hispanic, and his name was Anthony, or Tony for short. We ended up giving him the nickname of "Broton" (Brown Tony) since we had 3 other people with the name "Tony" that worked for us.

Good times.

Oddly enough, PappaDukes, there is also a sketch from Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job where they pitch a jingle for the Rolos candy. They make up a stupid song about "Rolo Tony Brown Town."

Rolo Tony Brown Town

I'm as excited to listen to this as a black pornstar with braided pubic hair on her first photo shoot. Especially because Brad Nicholson is on this week! He sure has big muscles for some reason.

I liked the bjorked intro, can you guys talk over that stupid gamercast ad EVERY week?

Also, I know you guys are all super in love with xbox 360, but can you please stop asserting that $15 is the new price point for downloadable games? While that may very well be true on XBLA it certainly isn't for PSN, where the standard price is still $10, with the exception of a few games, which are basically the Penny Arcade titles, Watchmen, and shit from Capcom.

Topher also needs to correct his statement from whichever podcast he was on when he said that Flower is $15, because it's not and never has been. We've already accepted his apology, we just need to hear the words.

Yeah, I too enjoyed the messed up intro. I thought it was your new way of doing the advert.

Also, I really wish I has any ability to draw. Although I have some fantastic images in my head, I totally lack the ability to put them on paper.

@Dantronic - It's allowed when you work for a very small company with people who are like family. We were very close and he was easy to pick on. Oh, and it also helps that he contributed in picking the name.
