Did I post this video before? I can't remember. It gets better after the first two minutes.

Anyway, Podtoid 65 records tonight, featuring Jim Sterling, Aaron Linde, and Samit Sarkar. We'll be talking about vomit-inducing MMOs, fatass gamers, and other random news bits.

There's no sonnet theme this week, because Aaron Linde is still recoiling from the last one.

Aaron, how do you feel about the Linde/Nex yaoi that's been floating around the internet? Maybe I'm late to the party, but I just saw it like, five minutes ago.

By the way, did you tap that before he went to GameLife? I would have. Damn.

I want to hold off on Braid questions until the Braid episode, but I want to let you all know I have lots to talk about on that subject :)

Aside from finishing Braid, I just finished FFIV DS, of which the original is a game that has a lot of special meaning to me beyond the game itself. It was nice to see characters that I love in 3D showing more emotion than they possibly could in 1991, but at the same time part of me missed the charm of the 2D sprites. Do you think remakes like the makeover of FFIII or FFIV ultimately help or hurt?

Would you like to see Braid anywhere else in the future; such as the DS or PSP?
Also, it's not quite the same as braid, but doesn't that P.B. Winterbottom game seem interesting?

Bonus question: When's the last time each of you rewound a VHS tape?

Rev: Have you even played past the demo levels of PixelJunk Monsters? Because it sure doesn't sound like it. The thing isn't remotely like something you would "just relax and play." You also blew it on Eden, which wouldn't be a game at all without the timer. It's not fl0w and it isn't supposed to be. But again, if you'd played past the demo levels you might have realized that.

What do you all think of Little Big Planet as big money success for Sony? As much as I am looking forward to the game I cannot see it flying off shelves unless Sony rethinks its marketing of the title.

How would sell this game to the masses?
