This week's episode of Podtoid is, if I may say so, a reasonably enjoyable one. We witness the death of an old Podtoid meme and the birth of a new one, we all get our digs in on Luc Bernard, and Aaron Linde yells at another well-meaning listener for no good reason.
You can listen to the podcast here, as always. Highlights include:
- Mr. Destructoid to be removed from FaceBreaker
- Vomiting, passed-out gamers are: hilarious, tragic, aggravating, mostly hilarious
- Jon Blow will be on the show next week!
- I make the stupidest goddamn factual error I've made me my entire goddamn life why am I even a journalist I don't deserve this job I wish I were dead
- Ruminations on the Nintendo 64
- Puns, puns, puns
This week's best question -- and I know I always say this, but it was honestly very hard to choose with so many great questions -- came from NobodysDream. Put yer email in the comments and we'll contact you about getting your piece of swag.
[The music is "Dirge" by Death in Vegas.]
*fingers crossed you answered my question*
I can die happy now. Thanks guys. I can't wait to hear what you say. Also, Death in Vegas is underrated as fuck.
STOP DOING REV'S JOB!
THANK YOU PLEASE KEEP DOING MY JOB
I love that you guys suffered from the same disease I had throughout my youth. It took me multiple tries to finally commit to beating games. It wasn't that I couldn't do it, it's just that my frustration or attention span would quit on me.
"Chrono Trigger Triggers Some Buzz!"
Screw that guy.
Maybe RobotFart should've worded his question more along the lines of "Have you guys ever had any idea for a interesting gameplay mechanic that you'd want so see in a videogame?" rather than mentioning the dreaded "i" word, then it might've spurred a real discussion on the topic.
Oh yeah, if the first email doesn't work, contact me at: jwrulz@san.rr.com
That actually makes me like him more. Kevin Smith's movies are usually awful.

Thanks :)
That Jim Sterling dude still says more generally wrong things about games/issues than you are on these podcast or he just has bad taste I can't tell.
And I do not even think they even based in fact, so you are still ahead, it was an atempt at facts.
Surely, you CANNOT deny Jersey Girl!!
. . .
point taken.
Also, I'm surprised there wasn't a Solid Snake photoshop from that picture.
The 18 hour boss fight is not just one single enemy, it swarm upon swarms of monsters. It still a ridiculous fight. Square-Enix currently has 2 monsters within the game that are "defeatable" but have not been killed legitimately yet. It is funny how this story has gotten media attention.
