This week's episode was supposed to be about news stories, but it mutated into something much less informative and (I hope) infinitely more entertaining. There's still a lot of news in there, of course, but it's interspersed with weirdly personal moments like
Aaron's serious hatred for people who get angry at reviews (Anger!)
Tiff's animatronic-filled nightmares (Suspense!)
Anthony's tales of a drunken, elastic-faced Linde (Terror!)
and
Jim's intentions with a certain First Lady of Donkey Kong (Sperm!)
So, yeah. A pretty weird, schizophrenic week, but hopefully a fun one. As always, head to the official Podtoid page to check out the new episode, or (even better) subscribe to us on iTunes. We'll be plenty pretentious and subject-driven next week to make up for whatever shenanigans occurred for this episode, so fear not.
This week, Sky-Face won the 25 bucks: just post your email in the comments and I'll contact you about the lunch money.
[The intro/outro music is Skatesteak by Sebastien Tellier, Mr. Oizo, and SebastiAn.]

Now that's a classic t-shirt.
Also, hating on people who are coming into videogaming makes you sound like the people who like bands until they are cool. Yes, some of these people werent playing when you were, yes, some of them havent played the games they wear the t-shirts for. However merchandising is a reality in a consumer society. If these new people are looking for more than just wii waggle minigame 32, maybe we should be happy about them??
Surely we should just let other people do or buy whatever they choose. Or maybe I'm wrong, I was just always a crappy hater.

Anyway, I'm pretty much going to stay away from all reviews from now on. I'm just going to get games based on the things that I know about it and on some number someone assigns to it. The idea of scoring something just sounds stupid, there are some games that are love it or hate it, like say, Killer7. Some people think that game is the worst game ever and some people think it's amazing, how do you put a number on that?
Gaming Swag Topic: I watched The King of Kongs recently and the guy wearing the Doom 3 shirt bothered me more then it should have.
King of Kongs Topic: That's epic
Hype Topic: Devil May Cry is perhaps my favorite game ever. And I didn't get into the series until I saw the trailer for DMC3, which was 99% content from the game. People shouldn't get the name out there, they should get the game out there.
In Game Advertisements Topic: I believe that battle.net has had advertisement in the past that, but I barely noticed it. Also I'm really liking Gametap's free program even though i have to play with a banner add at the bottom. Maybe I'm just better at ignoring stuff then most people.
Holocaust Game Topic: Sounds similar to what Haze is trying to do with Mantel Corp.
Summary: Fun

Now, I DO feel superios to everyone who games on just a console though, becuase that's entirely different. Fuck console fags.
:3
Also, if something's worth doing, it's worth doing right. I don't see a problem with critiquing a game for putting in something it didn't need and doing a shitty job of it. Army of Two sounds to be half-assed all around in every element, though, so it doesn't really matter.

1) I'm a drunk.
2) Jim has a lot of pent up, er, passion. Dood, follow your dreams and never give up hope.
3) In game advertising hasn't affected me at this point.. well there was Yo! Noid and Cool Spot. I'm still scarred by the Noid.
You guys are great. Thanks for entertaining us.
