Firstly: SPOILER ALERT FOR EVERY GAME EVER MADE, EVER.
This time around, you'll unfortunately hear Jim and myself (mostly me) cut in and out a few times without explanation. They are but growing pains in another step of Podtoid's evolution. Not only have we switched recorders (the devilishly handsome BlindsideDork now holds the microphone), but Podtoid 41 represents the first news-unrelated episode we've more or less ever done.
This week, Qais Fulton, Daniel "Lingen" Lingen, Jim Sterling and I talk about videogame characters. Just videogame characters. Our favorites, the merits of the silent protagonist, and the people of Rapture. No new news -- just character discussion.
I had a spectacularly hard time choosing a best question for this week, but Leviticus's provided a pretty good conclusion to our lengthy talks. Post your email in the comments and your money shall be delivered posthaste.
Go to the official Podtoid page and give it a listen, then come back and tell me: what did you guys think about the new format? Do you prefer individual news commentaries, or larger discussions of grander subjects? Hit the comments.
[The intro/outro song is "Grim Fandango" by Cadence Weapon, delivered courtesy of .tiff.]

As far as format goes, I haven't listened yet but I like the format where you talk disparagingly about Mexicans and Jim calls people cunts.
JIM STERLING
is a pretty cool guy,
Eh calls people cunts
AND DOESN'T AFRAID OF ANYTHING
Regardless, I liked it. It's very similar to Retroforce's usual themes. I think you should do this whenever you don't have anything particularly interesting to discuss for the week, since some weeks are slower than others and it's nice to have a list of shit to talk about in reserve.
Urgh...
Maybe...
Awesome podcast.
