Is Aaron Linde as sexy in person as he is in that Thumbnail Avatar?
Where is my 25$ I'm saving for a 360! =p
But yeah, let's say it belongs to Joystiq.
Also do you guys think there are too many versions of the 360 and PS3?
1) Rayman Raving Rabbids was a bright light in the Wii launch last year. Like many people, I played it and really enjoyed the stupid humor of the rabbids, despite a lack of substantial gameplay. In retrospect though, it was not worth the $50 price tag. What would you like to see in the upcoming Rabbids sequel to fix its faults and make it worth your $50?
2) When is everyone going to stop talking about Halo 3? The hype has seriously outworn its welcome. I understand the pre-hype. I understand the launch week hype. But seriously, who cares anymore? And just when it looks like it was going to start to die down, Bungie and Microsoft break up, causing even more Halo discussion. When is it too much? When can I expect to see a Halo-free front page at least one day a week?
I can answer your first question. RRR2 will be soo shadowed by the launch of Mario Galaxy it won't matter. Nobody will buy it anyway.
Ever since you all have begun blogging about videogames, not necessarily since joining Destructoid, has there been a noticeable increase (having to play games to write about them) or decrease (having to research, write and travel to events) in the time spent actually playing them? Also, has this "hobbipation" (hobby + occupation) caused you to experience a lot of different games, whether individual titles or entires genres, that you probably wouldn't have otherwise, perhaps at a preview, for a review or just to keep up with current titles? If so, have these gameplay experiences been mostly positive, a newly discovered like or appreciation for individual or multiple titles that probably wouldn't have been developed otherwise, or negative, becoming soured towards gametypes that may have ceased to bring entertainment due to forced oversaturation within your respective playtimes? Do you sometimes find yourselves just wanting to cut out all the excess necessities of your current stations and just be able to STFUAJPG?
You are an emo and/or musclebound, dude and/or team-of-dudes fighting aliens and/or soldiers and/or demons with guns and/or sharp things and/or supernatural powers from a third and/or first person view in a world that is full of bloom lighting and/or dirt textures and/or extreme grayness.
Haze, Dark Sector, Jericho, Gears, The Darkness, Too Human, Killzone, F.E.A.R., Time Shift, Condemned, and a bunch of others I'm forgetting because they all look the same to me.
Is this all the fancy "next-gen" graphics and processing power is going to get me? Is there anything coming out for these systems that does anything interesting? I'm so much more hyped to see something like Zack and Wiki or Galaxy, and think they look much better than any of those games. And I'm not saying stuff needs to be ultra cartoony to look good, but just some kind of art direction. Games like BG&E, SotC, and PoP (which is getting Assasin's Creed I suppose) all looked phenomenal on old systems, and were anything but these bland lifeless worlds.
LOL. Come on, admit it, you know it's what will happen. Ubisoft has yet to put anything worthwhile out there for the Wii.Then you try to stack your crap out next to Galaxy. It's obvious. You can't improve on mini games. Mini games are mini games for a reason. They are supposed to be a quick novelty that will be entertaining in small doses. Surely you don't expect RRR2 to be something completely different? It will be much of the SOS just different box art.
Since when does it matter who a question is addressed to. This is an open forum =p
What’s your take on the recently-announced 40 GB PS3? For example, did the announcement convince any of you guys, or anyone you know, to take the plunge and say, “Okay, $399 is the price point for me?” I mean, it’s by far the cheapest Blu-ray player out there, and it does have wireless built-in, something which no Xbox 360 can yet claim. Or, do you see it as another gross misstep by Sony? (I’m of course referring to their [questionable, at best] decision to remove any shred of backward compatibility from the new SKU)
But even if you don’t personally feel the need to go out and pick one up, do you think that this is finally the tipping point? As in, is this the point where people can legitimize to themselves the decision to buy one — considering the price as well as the current library of games (along with all the games that will be coming out before the end of the year)?
we are seeing some games like gears of war coming slowly to the PC. Do you think that we are going to see more of this crossing between xbox 360 and the PC? For example, games that are for the 360 coming at the same time to the PC.
1) What is Nintendo's problem with communicating effectively with third-party devs? It is great that Guitar Hero III is coming to Wii but will the Wii version have any DLC available? Why can't Activision distribute the DLC for GH III through WiiWare?
2) Why did Bungie even feel the need to become an self-owned company again? What advantage does this possibly allow? They are still focusing on the 360 first and foremost, and will still be "that Halo developer" to the X-Bots, so what is with the switch?
3) Again, what is your take on the 40 GB PS3 SKU and the new Xbox Bundles?
4) What was your reaction to the Too Human dev diary that was recently released? Didn't the game look pretty underwhelming (when the allegorical elements are removed)? Ten years, Silicon Knights, and all I get is a brawler?
5) What is this new Wii SKU rumor? WTF!?!
6) Can I ]heat 360?
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
