Tonight, the big three come together to record a very special Podtoid. That's right my chilluns, Summa, Niero, and Ron "PR Nightmare" Martini will come together to destroy what every podcast has hoped to achieve ever. In fact, we may set podcasts across the board back about 5 years with our vile hot fire that we spit. We're that uber.

and I thought "how many wolves have to die" would be the least relevent ad i'd ever see on dtoid :)
As for the women's ads, our ads served from a third party company so we take whatever we can get from them to help pay for the 5 servers that host Dtoid. We block porn ones which I was so tempted to turn on April 1st ;)

Why don't you call up someone in the Gaming Industry while your recording the Podcast....then you can PUT THEM ON THE SPOT!
Why doesn't the Dtoid Podcast have any traditions? like every five minutes everyone takes a shot! (obviously Ron with his drinking talent would have an unfair advantage) Shouldn't someone be playing a video game while the Podcast is being recorded? Perhaps a timed gaming events quiz? dunno something that happens in each podcast. A roundtable discussion would cool where everyone only had like 30 sec to comment on whatever topic there was. And then a loud fucking buzzer would sound! It would be nice to hear from everyone on the podcast at some point. There are times when its just a couple of people talking the whole time...
In the future would you ever consider doing the podcast live and allow people to interact through vent or something?

Anyway, serious question for serious podtoid hosts (I LOLED!): Now that Timothy Olyphant is set to play Agent 47 in the upcoming Hitman movie, and Cliffy B has signed on as executive producer for the Gears of War movie, do you have any hope that video-game-to-movie franchises will improve or will they forever be scarred by gamers and watched only for cheesy lulz and the purpose of pointing out mistakes the writers made?
There are still MUD communities and simulators out there; they definitely represent a milestone in virtual interaction (and prohibitively expensive dial-up technologies). All the stuff we do today has an essence of that. These whipper-snappers don't know how good they have it!
