We're sorry about the audio. I usually record the show, but Vista hates my recording software and we were forced to have Chris do the honors. We're not sure what or who's to blame for the poor quality and we almost just didn't even bother releasing the thing.

Im listening to him now defend PS3 tooth and nail. Saying that backwards compatibility doesn't matter. The best is how every other person has to tell him to shut up because he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Nah, Summa's alright. I think some of it is just him taking the opposing view to force the topic. There are a lot of people who don't like the Wii cause it doesn't appeal to them. Not as good a graphics, novel control scheme that there are few game which take advantage of. I think those games are coming though and the graphics will improve with time. Will they be as good as the 360s or PS3? No, it's just not got the horsepower. Nintendo has to win on gameplay. Something their 1st party games excel at, but this generation Nintendo needs that 3rd party support.

The more Wii's that sell the larger the market. And, like the DS, with a huge user base you get different games that you wouldn't normally see. Personally, I'm excited. I hope that Nintendo releases a blow em up game with "shiny" so Sum-ah can be happy.

Yeah, apologies from me for the quality as well. I believe it's just skype dying from the fact that everyone at p-toid likes to talk over each other in order to yell at Summa sufficiently.

Just to be clear I own Crackdown, I bought it at 7am at Wal-Mart the day of launch, and I've beaten it. It was pretty fun too. I was calling you out about hype because it was received very high review scores from you guys. It's ultimately a shallow game that you'll beat in three days and never play again.

I don't own a 360, nor have I played Crackdown, but it's my impression that the longer term appeal is from the online component... I guess in your case it wasn't?

There could be if there were more multiplayer modes, as opposed to just 2 player co-op. I've played it with a few people Co-Op and it is definitely fun but it doesn't have a serious multiplayer component to it like Gears of War or Halo 2. I think it's the flavor of the month game that no one will still be playing it in a few months unless they release a serious amount of downloadable content.
