We've come a long way since Podtoid 1 and in that time we've learned to grow and evolve into the best damn podcast around (especially you know who with that boring one that I know you know I'm talking about). Now comes our delayed Podtoid 16 which could possibly be our finest work -- keep in mind we have very low standards. second, the stuff with nintendo. Is slitting throats allowed? Ok, i fucking hate the way Nintendo is doing Virtual Console and online play. But for the last time, Nintendo isn't for kids! holy fuck. why do people still think that?
The Wii isn't just about getting kids into gaming, its about getting EVERYBODY into gaming. Just as an example, when i was home over christmas i had cousins and aunts asking me about the Wii. They have never asked me about video games in the 20 years of my existence and they were asking me about the Wii because they were really interested in it.
Its not just kids fucking around, its adults too. And for this audience that is being reached, graphics don't mean shit. My 50 year old aunt or 30 year old cousin won't fucking give a shit the difference between 360 and Wii graphics because they are used to solitare or some shit on the computer.
I just get pissed when people say Nintendo is for kids.
