Podtoid 15 appears. Command? photo

Brace yourself, folks: Podtoid 15 has been caught, gutted, skewered, and slow-roasted to perfection. Special guest Chris Furniss joined the Podtoid regulars for an epic battle for podcast supremacy; a battle which Mr. Furniss most certainly won. Hard to claim legitimacy in a production that spends 3-4 minutes talking about taking a crap. Admittedly, that was my fault.

Topics discussed include sandbox games, Hotel Dusk, Japanese gamers eating up Gears of War, and some big Destructoid news to sink your teeth into.

So go check it out, and try to ignore the shattered professionalism scattered throughout like so much confetti.

first question: where the !@#!@# is my podtoid 15?
real question: with Oblivion getting a full sized expansion the Shivering Isles, (Knights of the Nine is technically just added content), do you think that in the future Microsoft will allow game expansions to have Achievements? I mean Oblivion is a huge game, if you tack on the Kot9 and The Shivering Isles, that is alot of game to only have 1000 possible Achievement Points. I was thinking that maybe MS could allow full sized (beefy) expansions to net you 500-800 AP. What say you?

We are definitely seeing the lines blur between Downloadable Content, Episodic Gaming (Half-Life 2 does not count), and expansions. Episodice Gaming is definitely benefitting from being the latest "it" phrase, but is being misused to signify
any kind of downlodable content.

Me and Irish brethern will slay any Sony Promoters...Oh and WTF with the fucking kids and their 'Oooh! id rather stack cups than play a console!!!' Ad being shown over here...Do Sony want to fuck up intentionally. At least ye got Lance Henrikson doing the voice-over. Love the show lads, keep um coming!

80+ MB for the file? Who is editing these things? You should be able to easily get it to less then 50MB and not lose any audio quality.. The shows are great but they are torture on our ears compared to other podcasts I listen to..
