do you think games could be more suited to tv shows rather than films as there is more time to develop characters and flesh out the story, rather than using the basic story and characteristics of the characters to make shit films based loosely on their source material. Could work for games such as metal gear solid or mass effect with their long complicated stories and huge casts of varied characters, and the fact levels or stages in a game lend themselves to tv episodes rather than a 2hour film.
I have a question for Jim Sterling. In that one Windows 7 commercial the English woman says windows 7 is "just miles simpler". Shouldn't she be saying "just kilometers simpler"?
I saw the dtoid staff at paxeast but only met Hamza. Do you guys ever regret having to work doing these events? A few weeks back Linde and Brad both said that Square Enix was winning them back with Final Fantasy XII. I was wondering what about it made it enjoyable to you guys. I just beat it for the first time, and while the battle system is different, there is still a lot of grinding to be done, and I feel like it has less strategy involved as opposed to X or something. My favorite part about it was the story, really kept me interested (Oh and Balthier is a badass).

How do you guys think Microsoft's and Sony's delve into motion control gaming will affect their videogame lineups, both in the immediate and near future? As someone who has no interest in spending extra money on top of a console's normal expenses, I have been hesitant in picking up either a 360 or PS3 for fear of being flooded with motion-control titles. From what you guys have seen at recent game expos, what do you think?
