My sincere apologies. I actually feel ridiculous for forgetting about the only member of the podcast who shares my love of SSPPPOOOOORRRRTS.
As usual, the undisputed Winner of the Hart Memorial Trophy was overshadowed by the Calder winning rookie of the year.

Where do you get the other weapons from? I'm on the second-to-last level, and the only weapons I have are the sword and the shotguns, and I can only buy the electric-death gloves and an alternate version of the shotguns from Hell. I literally have no idea where I'm supposed to find the other weapons.
You can earn weapons through performance in battle (I believe). After some of my fights, I have been awarded Golden Albums (yes, like records that would hang on a wall) or pieces thereof. Once you have an entire record, when next you visit Rodin, he will acknowledge that you have a new record for him (Notice the Victrola at the Gates of Hell?). After he warps out of the bar, and then returns, bloodied and battered, you are awarded a new weapon. In addition to the sword and shotguns, I have gotten a set of Durga claws, and a Whip that is made of a purple snake as a result. I did not have to spend money for these weapons.
I am making an assumption that the Records are earned through performance, but I never bothered reading the manual, so I could be wrong on that count.
