@Antony - Have you played the PC game Pathologic? It's by the same developers as The Void and I remember playing the demo many years ago and found it very interesting. I just rediscovered it on direct2drive.com but haven't purchased it yet.

Dude Antony basically wrote a whole Rev Rant on Pathologic and The Void. It was a good one too so I suggest going into the video section and checking it out. It was the newest one I think.

at work I get so much crap for spending my free time playing games and since our hobby is not quite part of the mainstream media I was just thinking about it.
Do you feel like this is cheating the game, or undermining the creator's intentions in any way? Personally, I beat the game using the keyboard the first time, and on my second playthrough, I switched to a controller. I may be overthinking it, but I couldn't really conjure up a question.

Also, are there any games you wish you could play, but for whatever reason, cannot?
Any mechanics in games that urk you? For me, I hate it when a game allows customization, but also features appearance changes for crappy reasons (Moral choices).
I have two questions, can you think of games that have claimed to be something their not? And can you think of any games which claimed to have unique elements or mechanics, which have already been done, in other previous less known or popular games?

Anyway, as you are the President of the Indie Faction Against Game Starvation I was hoping that you could pass on my apology to Terry Cavanagh and tell him I will buy it at $10 (or whatever that equates to in GBP).

Also, are you guys gonna do an audio commentary with the recent Chun-Li streetfighter film when it comes out? If the film is bad enough, I think you should consider it. Hopefully it's terrible to the point of hilarity, not bad to the point of crushing our souls with its mediocrity. I'm not sure why you all got so self-concious about the commentaries and stopped doing them - they were all pretty awesome, DD included (oh, and RE omitted). Robert Patrick! Don't know what you were all so dissapointed about. Him bursting through that paper wall made it all worth it.
What are your hopes, fears, and desires for The Last Guardian in terms of the themes, relation to the other games, etc?
Is there anyway possible it could be better than SotC or Ico?
Is it possible this game might tarnish the "legacy" of the previous games or are they locked in no matter what?

Do you think it's necessary for the general public to weigh in on this, seeing as it doesn't affect them either way? Isn't it the voice of the gamer that is being affected that has the most relevance in a discussion like this? Please tell me what you at Podtoid think of this matter.
