It's been so damn long since I've actually hosted an episode of Podtoid, I forgot what frigging time we start. Hence the late post.
But anyway, yeah: the regular cast will discuss Assassin's Creed II, the newly announced Prince of Persia game, and pretty much whatever questions managed to get asked between now and the time we record.
Which isn't very long.
So start asking.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I'm doing my MA thesis on how historical video games are designed, so any ideas I can "borrow" for my research would be helpful.
No?
Oh well, would have been funny.
Even when they're positive, I feel like these ratings are troublesome, espeically outside of the context of their release. Quantifying enjoyability is tricky. On the flip-side, it's also true that a lot of "art" in the traditional sense is and always has been "product" in the Walmart sense of the word. Give us history and art majors some meat to gnaw on.
Discuss why.

Also, why did Jim give AC2 such a high rating?
No?
Fair enough.
So Noby Noby Boy made it to Jupiter, how much will the internet giggle once he makes it to Uranus?
To piggyback on the rhythm game talk last week, when will Kotick unleash his master plan for That's What I Call Music Hero?
1st question: Any scenes in Modern Warfare 2 you found more disturbing than the No Russian level?
2nd question: What are you guyses favorite Left 4 Dead 2 primary and secondary weapon combinations? (ex: Ak-47 and Katana?, Shotgun and Magnum?)
3rd question(bit of a long one, sorry): You guys actually touched on this last week, but how has your criteria for a "top ten videogames list" been affected by the more recent games(released after 2000)? How dow you feel this represents the direction of the growth of videogames as an entertainment medium and as a beacon of artistic vision compared to earlier games?
However, I would like to hear Jim discuss his review with the rest of the team, I'm quite interested to see a well thought out retort to his main gripes with the game without everyone screaming BIAS. Athough it'll probably be mentioned anyway, heh.
Okay, here's one. What do you all plan on getting people for christmas, gaming related-wise?
I would take:
Zoey, Ellis, Nick, and Bill.
What game released this decade do you feel embodies the potential of the medium in the future? In other words, what game do you guys feel has had the greatest impact on the media these last ten years, the most revolutionary ideals, and the type of ploys that could only ever be done in a videogame?
What game has set the medium apart from others, and shown that some things can only be done through the methods and immersion of games, and which would not have had the same effect in another form?
Do they even want a review then, or just an auto-generated score and message that confirms that getting this game is / was a great idea?
-Are there any games you think would make a good movie? ( Tf2 musical? Shit yeah.)
-What the fuck is Oscar Mike?
-When do you think graphics and photorealism are important to gameplay experience? Are they needed at all?
-What do you think about the growing market of crap peddled specifically to gamers? Like energy drinks specifically for gamers, and that sort of thing. When does it stop being useful and start becoming a pathetic attempt to create a new gaming problem and then fix it? ( 'Wear these special shoes to play DDR for maximum dancing ability' sort of stuff.)
-Do you think the pokemon franchise will ever come out with something legitimately new?I mean, heartgold and soulsilver? Are we ever going to get something besides a samey jrpg type thing in the pokemon universe?
-That new LFD demake looks sweet. What games do you think deserve a re/demake? (GOTCHA FOOOOORCE http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/Chainsawface/why-gotcha-force-is-the-best-third-person-shooter-ever-156439.phtml)
-What games would you like to see be made able to be modded?
-Are there any qualities or aspects of a game that will never be used, and can't be used, in any positive way for a game? Something that just makes every game that has it worse?
-Do the podtoiders read video game webcomics? If so, which are their favorite?
-Why do MMOs suck so much? I love online gaming, but nothing I play is ever good. FIX IT PODTOID.
