This week, we'll likely be discussing our top ten favorite games of all time, as inspired by Nick's post over here. This was suggested by Brad Nicholson, who will also be joining us. We'll also probably talk about the fact that Jim just scored himself a 1337 gaming PC, and how he thinks he's better than everyone else now. Samit will probably want to talk about something PS3 as well. Variety, ladies and gentlemen, we has it.

Who would you like to see remake your favorite game?
Also, do you think more games that want to give players choices based on morality could learn a bit from Dragon Age? Or do you think that the choices there were even a bit weak?

Is there a stronger 80's performance than that of James Tolkan in Top Gun? I don't believe there is.
Would left for dead be cool if you had to fight the military and zombies, kinda like in MGS4 or the end of MW2. I love games where your undercover against two opposing factions.
Ok, a few questions for everyone now:
1st question: Any scenes in Modern Warfare 2 you found more disturbing than the No Russian level?
2nd question: What are you guyses favorite Left 4 Dead 2 primary and secondary weapon combinations? (ex: Ak-47 and Katana?, Shotgun and Magnum?)
3rd question(bit of a long one): What kind of criteria do you use to judge your most favorite games? Is it as simple as what games you had the most fun with, or do you choose them based on how much they affected you life or based on just the quality of the game without any subjective influence?
Follow up bonus question to question 3: When looking back through the game's you have played in your life, are there any games that you thought you loved, or that you really do love, but for some reason wouldn't consider it "top 10" material even though you would have at one point in time, or even though you might consider it somewhat better than another game on your top 10 list?

And Brad, are you disappointed that in L4D2, you can't melee the Tank to death with your bare hands, or at least suplex him, like you'd do in real life?

How has your criteria for judging your "top 10" games changed over the span of your life, and how has that effected the kind of games that have made it onto your list?
That said, what video game sequels do y'all feel were noticeably worse than the first game in their respective series?
I ask this because thinking of my favorite games reminds me of how disappointed I was in Xenosaga Episode II after falling in love with Xenogears and Episode I.

Serious question: I finished Modern Warfare 2's Single Player, and after getting to the part where it was like a day in the life of Brad Nicholson, It got me thinking about other holy shit moments in video games. Fro me the second half of Act 4 and all of Act 5 in MGS4 come in to mind, mostly for a lack of trying, and partially its the first game in a long time to make me keep saying holy shit in a given amount of time. So in order to keep myself from going on, What game made you say holy shit in either a good or bad way ?

And serious question, what genre do you think will be the "genre of the year" for 2010? Some years seem to be about FPS's, some RPG's, and other times, just a good mixture.
Since it's legalization in the States, have any of you ever tried Absinthe and does anyone have any large-quantity-absinthe-drinking stories if you have tried it?
