Podtoid 123: Scary Basement photo

Finally, Podtoid's officially unofficial commentary track for Resident Evil is complete. We hope you like it, because it's the last commentary track you'll be getting for quite some time.

As always, you'll need to find a copy of the movie in question to really get anything out of this episode -- and even then, you'll probably still feel used by the end of the show. Don't say we didn't warn you.

To be honest i have listened to each of the commentries halfway through (except for Mortal combat, all the way) and just found the comments back and forth entertaining.

Gonna see about Finally watching this "with" you guys and see if the experience differs significantly....

Cheers for putting yourselves through this.

I thought it was pretty good, the commentary I mean, not the movie by itself...

It's not on the same level as Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, but that's mostly because the Resident Evil movie is neither funny or scary.

Well except if you find bad CG monsters to be funny, I will admit that I do.

I think getting away from these commentary shows is a good move. A round table news show is very different than an riff trax audio commentary. If you're ever going to do this again, spin it out into a separate feature so we don't lose a "real" Podtoid episode.

I really liked this one. Several comments had me laughing out loud. However, moving back to every 10 episodes or so is probably a good idea.

Should have done Doom guys. No matter how bad you bash it, it's a fun movie and since the game is inane nonsense the movie doesn't have any plot to mess up. Marines fight monsters in space. Rock makes hilarious faces. Life is good.

I swear you guys were watching the extra extended version of the film, every 5 minutes I would find myself around 30 seconds behind. However, was hilarious, thanks for finally doing this, now Ican stop listening to your shitty podcasts.

Aw man, after you guys get that sand out of your vaginas and man-up to doing another commentary, you should DEFINITELY do Jurassic Park III.

Wait! Why not Jurassic Park 1?! Because it wouldn't be funny if you did the original. You would just be repeating the lines back at the movie. You have to do the worst movie in the trilogy while doing the Robert Muldoon voice throughout the entire thing.

Laura Dern makes her little cameo. "SHOOOOT HAAAAAA!!!!"
