The problem -- and I think I've said this before in regard to fanart header images -- the problem with having a really kickass community who makes stuff for you is that when it comes time to share their works in an official capacity, there are just too many. I would have loved to include every single techno remix inspired by Podtoid 114 in this week's episode, but I had to settle for putting Super Mega Hyper's song at the beginning. You should still check out the Podtoid forum for the rest, though.
Anyway, this week's episode is as meandering and weird as you might expect. Linde's gone, but Brad/Chet fills in quite nicely.
You can listen to the thing here, as usual, or you can subscribe to us on iTunes.
This week's most interesting question, which wasn't really much of a question but still resulted in interesting discussion and a really horrendous quote from me, came from Tremulant. Email us at podtoid@destructoid.com and we'll send you stuff.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Sorry, Samit. God bless you.
Is it just me or is the show quieter when Linde aint on it?
Oh yeah. The episode. Good, I guess.
Great episode indeed.
But yeah go and check out the other awesome stuff on the forums, considering they came up with the idea originally.
I download games and I admit I'm greedy and lazy :p
I'm also a copyright abolitionist, but the morality of copying doesn't change that I'm greedy and lazy and that's why I download :p
I'm getting to the point in my life where I can afford lots of games though so I'm pretty much buying every game I enjoy which is a very large number of games, so hopefully the people here will forgive me.
It was claimed that it's 'ludicrous' to say that copying is not morally identical to theft.
First, let me say that being a copyright supporter is not contingent on believing that copying is theft.
Acknowledging that copyright is a prohibition on copying (and NOT a law against theft) doesn't require you to abandon your views on so-called 'pirates'. You can, at the same time, believe copying is just as immoral as stealing, and not the same as stealing.
That being said, how could they be considered the same? I didn't hear any supporting arguments in this podcast. You can't just spout intellectual property dogma and act like it's proof of something.
Can't you see that you're lumping them together arbitrarily and unnecessarily? The issue of what to do about copying is unique and important and you're doing a disservice to the discussion by writing it off as though it's precisely equivalent to something else.

Brad Nicholson: "Yo Anthony, Anthony, I know you're ending the podcast and I'm going to let you finish...but this, our introduction was way better than this conclusion."
And the reason they were so in love with cell shading on Dreamcast is that it was the first console that could actually pull it off in real-time. Believe it or not, cell shading (and other forms of NPR) require more horsepower (usually a lot more horsepower) than similar "realistic" rendering techniques because they require several render passes per frame. With systems like the N64 and PSX you're barely able to get one pass that looks halfway decent, much less two, three, or more.
Come on, it's not that hard to know SOMETHING about these things.
