what do you all hope to see out of the next 100 episodes

How did you guys come to be part of the Podtoid cast? Feel free to embellish your answers with high octane, action movie esque scenarios...

With 100 episodes under your belt, do you guys have any regrets? Were there things left unsaid, lines that shouldn't have been crossed, or Bonerquests that should not have been accepted?

Niero, what advice would you give to someone looking to be as pimp as you? Nothing related to video games, just pimping and/or hustling in general.

Congrats again to you guys on 100 episodes, and especially to Linde for not snapping and murdering the Dtoid community by now.

So, first off, bravo and congrats. I've been listening to podtoid since it's awkward, screaming birth, and its been a trip observing its evolution.

So, 100 episodes in brings internet celebrity of sorts, and I imagine plenty of stories as well. What is the most unique opportunity that being associated with Destructoid has afforded you? Surely you've all experienced some sort of odd or rare encounter that stands out. Fess up.

There were always joke in the beginning about the Podtoid not being as good as it could have been (circa 13-20ish I think). Was there ever serious consideration of dropping the production of Podtoid?

With E3 looming around the corner and the cynical nature of the independent media of the internet, are you guys still excited about what the games to be announced at E3?

does this mean the the Mortal Kombat commentary is gonna be pushed back a week cos you are re doing ep 100?

On the subject of piracy.

I was having a discussion with a friend on piracy about a week ago. He offered me a pirated copy of Plants Vs. Zombies since I told him I was just about flat out of money. I refused, and we began to discuss piracy as a whole, in particular Plants Vs. Zombies and Demigod, which had a shockingly high piracy rate (I believe someone posted an article saying that over 75% of people online were playing a pirated copy).

He believed that by pirating the game and then using word of mouth to promote the game, it would outweigh the negatives of pirating it. In theory, this would then cause more people to go out of their way and buy it, which they wouldn't have done before.

I believe that if I did pirate it and tell friends about the game, nothing would stop them from pirating the game themselves, so at best you can only hope that people will buy it. I brought up Demigod as an example.

So finally, here's the question. Do you think that pirating a game and then using knowledge of it to promote other people to buy it is a good thing to do and will actually help a game, or is it just another way to try and justify pirating a game (such as the "I pirate it before I buy it" excuse which is heard all too often)?

If you ever had the chance to go back and redo Podtoid 100, what would you change?
Oh, never mind.

Aaron: Taking the reins on this show from Nex and adding more structure to it, leading to where it is today.
Samit: Rising up from the community to become a full fledged editor, and the most beloved Podtoid current cast member.
Jim: Finding the means to make doing this your full time job.
Topher: Launching an entirely new blog, whose niche was desperately in need of one.
Anthony: Designing and semi-programming your first game, unleashing another pretentious artgame on the unsuspecting public.
Niero: Starting up this website, which lead to the creation of several podcasts, one of which is hitting its 100th episode.

No one can actually predict the future, hell i might be hit by a bus tomorrow.

But where would you like/expect to see Dtoid, and Podtoid, in 100 episodes (2 years) from now? Also, when does a man draw the line on world domination Neiro? Must you have the world, and everything in it?

What do you guys think Destructoid/Podtoid will be in next 2 to 5 years ? How will it evolve?

Any chances that there will be other spin-offs possibly in other languages, as much for the site as for some of the podcasts ?

* Do it in an organized way. The problem with every special episodes is that turn in to a mess and what was too be good, is bery bad.

Would Brad Nicholson's rippling muscles be able to defend Earth from the imminent alien invasion? Say, if the "Grays" tried to ram a flying saucer into our planet, could he peddle a bike into the stratosphere and deflect it with bis pecs?

Also, could Brad Nicholson's biceps stop the events from the Book of Revelations from happening in modern times?

I now have a life long obsession with Raul Julia and his work, what strange way has podtoid changed your life, i.e not I made so many new friends or crap like that?

Also Raul Julia's last performance was actually in a serious tv drama, does that take away some of the magic?

I remember the first time I heard of Dtoid, it was at a little lan center in my hometown, Miami Springs, and there was this guy (Robot helmet NOT present, sadly) pitching ideas at the store manager for partnerships for tournaments and whatnot, talking about a website for gamers to be gamers.

Do you still do that, go out and try to get people on board this crazy train you've created? As a bonus question, do you now do it with the robot helmet? Double bonus: Do you remember me, the fat kid, arguing with the fat adult over Ninja Gaiden's RPG'ness?

Do you ever feel ashamed of yourself when you have a rare moment of deep, intelligent conversation destroyed by an errant dick joke?

Throughout the run of this podcast so many things have been invented. Bonerquest, the name Browntown, Jim's love of StarScream; and yet I've heard the opinion of some that these things are distractions from the main point of this podcast, which is games.

What do you think the point of this podcast is? To discuss video game news, or is it a gathering of people who read far too much video game news and their chance to point out what they find amusing, absurd, and outright insane.

Niero: Whats up with the site layout changing every 2/3 days? I'm always fascinated by the minor changes that seem to happen bi-weekly (maybe it isn't that often) Are you trying to find something that works or just keeping it fresh?

Did you ever think in your wildest dreams that the podtiod would go to 100 based on the early shows with Summa and meat spin?

Podtoid has seen many hosts, even Aaron Linde gave it a shot, Will the door keep rotating or is Anthony here to stay? I think he does a great job.

Topher and Jim (and I guess Aaron) how does it feel to be featured on 2 podcasts? Do you ever get confused or hold back for another show or anything like that?
