So, Wardrox forgot to remind me to do a Podcastle pre-show post. This is all his fault, somehow. Nevertheless, we have plenty to talk about, what with that mental in Germany shooting stuff up and Far Cry 2 getting blamed. That will be the cause of much discussion, and we may also discuss a further three other subjects. One can only hope.

What do you think about the correlation between the quality of tomb raider games, and suicides from jumping off of tall buildings? It's all there.
And to hear you bash the kz2 community for whining about the controls, though I dont have a ps3, it makes me sick. The ps3 gamers finally get a "good" FPS title and they moan until the developers have to dumb their game down because players cannot ADAPT to a new type of control scheme. Also, have you gotten a chance to see the two Red Cliff movies yet? Fans of the Dynasty Warriors games should love this two-part series, which are arguably the best video game movies of all time.
(Yeah, I know it's not really based on a video game but I cannot help but watch the film and feel that alot of the involved filmmakers played and drew from the games.)

atheistium, since you seem very connected with Microsoft, any word on whether or not there's a new Zune coming anytime soon? My first generation Zune is getting a bit old and tattered up now and I can't quite bring myself to buy anything by Apple.

Also, do you think that MW is too short? I ask because that's the main criticism people seem to have with it as it's a full price game. But, having played through it 3 times now and not gotten bored once, I can say that it definitely justified its price tag. It's fucking fantastic.

Most majour releases are leaked before copies are sent due to atheistium, would you get a modified console just to be able to shift your workload faster instead of waiting for the postman?

Extending Gibbos question a little, what is the most ridiculous real life thing you can blame on a videogame? Correct answers range anywhere between "having a seizure because I saw someone do it in Garry's Mod" to "eating midgets because Giants: Citizen Kabuto taught me it was okay"

I have to congratulate the german government, they didn't blame the whole thing on videogames and put a greater focus on tighter gun control and blamed the parents (mainly the father).
Private television reported heavily about videogame violence and linked it somehow to the murder, but that's private media, fuck them...
