Does the increase in the UK trade price of the Wii represent a strength or a weakness in Nintendos overall strategy? On the one hand it implies that they can't afford to take a cut in profits-per-console. On the other it could mean that they are such a powerful company they don't even have to worry about their relationship with retailers and can pass on increased costs rather than absorbing them.

Jim, are fish and chips a real English dish? Or it is just one of those fake American "ethnic" foods like chop suey which is not at all a Chinese dish despite being claimed as one for about a century now.

Also, have you gotten a chance to see the two Red Cliff movies yet? Fans of the Dynasty Warriors games should love this two-part series, which are arguably the best video game movies of all time.

(Yeah, I know it's not really based on a video game but I cannot help but watch the film and feel that alot of the involved filmmakers played and drew from the games.)

What's the worst experience you have had on a online game, either technical or userbase related?

With the relatively (i.e. it didn't get banned or edited) controversy-free release of MadWorld (specifically Europe), how do you think this will affect future developers choices to include extreme violence without being hounded by the banhammer? Obviously MadWorld is highly stylized and not realistic in the sense that Manhunt 2 was, but I still think that the bar has been raised in terms of what can be allowed in a videogame.

Also, do you think that MW is too short? I ask because that's the main criticism people seem to have with it as it's a full price game. But, having played through it 3 times now and not gotten bored once, I can say that it definitely justified its price tag. It's fucking fantastic.

With the news that Sony will charge $0.16 for each gig downloaded on PSN, who will suffer the most, Developers/publishers or consumers?

Will there be less Free content available now, like an example demos?

There has been alot of talk about how the Japenese game market is in trouble, but not alot about the European market. How is gaming doing in Europe, and what do you think it can do to improve? (From both a designer and player stand point)

P.S- My cousin was listening to the one Podcastle episode, where Jim had his step son come on and say what he was playing that week. When he said that he liked the LBP characters because "they were small," she fell on the floor laughing. She thinks that he is the cutest thing ever.
