GameStop has been selling all the 1st party titles and add-ons since yesterday as well. Got my protective case yesterday :)

I really want a Vita... but it's already fairly expensive, plus the whole memory card crap. Why can't it just use SD cards?

It's worth noting that some of these games are cheaper when bought on Amazon (read: physical product) than over PSN.

Totally not worth it to buy digital. Until other companies realize that the Steam system works, digital won't be worth it.

Well, I may be a minority, but while I support the "idea" of digital distribution I am still weary of the lack of proper rights or said ownership of the product in question. I mean it is very convenient, and saves both time, and money (and hopefully both retailers, and publishers alike can bring us even bigger savings as Steam does.) However, this brings me back to my complaint. It is a tricky road with digital distribution at the moment. It is sad for me to state just how, bad the state of affairs are in the gaming industry right now. Sadly that front has not even come to a head yet, and it will only get more brutal.

I digress though. Is this good news? Yes, and no. Sony unfortune as this may sound or come off has a bad reputation for their digital distributions on SEN (or PSN if you still prefer.) Especially in terms of pricing said digital products in question. Simply put if you are willing to make the drive, or wait for a good sale. Stick with the physical properties as much as possibles still.

@Rorek: I agree, and often times I find myself buying games on services like GOG, which guarantee that I am in full property of the EXEs of each game, instead of buying licenses for products as it's done in Steam. Steam is a great service for it's discounts and the overall non intrusive DRM, but the lack of complete ownership (compared to, say, a physical copy of a Console Title, which as long as you don't break will continue to work in the future with guarantee) really puts me off. That doesn't stop me from having 105 titles in Steam, though, but it does stop me from buying most at full price. If there's ever a day in which Steam has to go down completely, I hope they give us a way to download all of our libraries as individual exes completely free of any and all DRM, like what GOG does. If I want to simply copy and paste a folder into a Flash Drive and carry that flash drive with me everywhere in order to just pop it into any system and play said game, I can do so.

The PS Store is open on the Vita as well, but it's empty and you can't redownload anything yet.

NOJ87. Until companies learn from steam? You mean sell games at incredibly dirt cheap prices once in a while? Their infrustructure is identical, only their business plans differ. From What I understand Sony has agreed with Brick and Mortar retailers like GameStop not to undercut them on PSN. That's a contractual agreement that they can't break.

I think the VITA Is an interesting device but I just wish it was the size of the PSPGo, the only truly portable PSP ever made. The vita seems like a brick.

Yeah. I'm waiting to buy a PSVita. Sony really fuck it up....again. I'll wait for version 3, which I know is coming in about 6 months. The version that has the original specks of 32GB of internal memory. I am not dealing with another bullshit memory card. Sorry. And I will not purchase it a moment before that.

"Who's got their wallet handy?"

Not me. I'm no fool.

Besides, the Vita full games are cheaper thing is just a ploy to sell their new memory format.

They did a test that showed Uncharted loading faster from a retail copy compared to a digital one.

Yeah, as I've come to understand it, the transfer speed from the proprietary memory cards is pretty terrible. ProDuos didn't seem to have this kind of problem.

The design and implementation of the memory cards for the Vita is stupid on every conceivable level.

I've just got my Vita and while this is cool, I wish Escape Plan was on this list. I guess Uncharted will keep me company till then.
