PlayStation Store update: tons o' videos and a full game edition

It’s that time again, folks: I’m here to give you your weekly list of what Sony has brought to the PlayStation Store. For the first Thursday in September 2008, we’ve got a number of noteworthy additions to the Store, including the fourth episode of Qore, Sony’s “digital magazine” featuring the one and only Veronica Belmont. The $2.99 episode includes a month of exclusive access to the MotorStorm: Pacific Rift demo, among other goodies.

Next up is a new full retail game, NFL Head Coach 09. At 4.84 GB, it’s nearly twice the size of Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest For Booty, but if you’re a football fan, you’ll definitely get more than three to four hours of playtime out of this title. I should note that, at $49.99, it’s no cheaper than the retail version -- so if you’re dying to play it, it’s probably faster to run out to a brick-and-mortar store and pick up a copy there.

This week’s update is a bit thin on the demo side of things; there’s only the PURE demo, which made its way to Xbox Live earlier today. As for add-on stuff, HAZE gets a ten-dollar “Destruction Pack” with seven new multiplayer maps, and the charity PAX pack hits Rock Band. This week, there are all kinds of videos coming to the Store, like video tips on how to get those seemingly impossible Trophies in Super Stardust HD.
