I got it on the virtual console, amazingly awsome game! Never heard of it before it showed up for download. Never made it passed the 2nd stage either, its a great treat for psn+ users :D
If it's anything like the other Sega classics released on PSN (where you can significantly lessen the difficulty and increase the number of lives you have and are also able to save and load at any moment) it shouldn't really be very difficult at all.
wow, PS Plus keeps getting worse and worse.
i remember when they've announced it for the first time and somehow Sony never even kept those promises when they've announced this service. where are those updates that were suppose to be twice a month and why Sony keeps rehashing those deals over and over - i've seen some of PS Plus free titles 3-4 times already.

wow, Xbox Live and the E-shop and the Wii virtual console are getting worse and worse.... STFU Sofik. PS+ DOES get updated twice a week. Rehashed deals? I'm not 100% sure on that since I don't check + everyday, but I'm pretty sure that once PS+ gets updated, everything is brand new again.

I have a burned memory of the time a friend and I decided we were going to beat Comix Zone. We did it...I killed the guy from Big Trouble in Little China, though it took like 10 hours and I didn't play another game for like a week.

I have't been on PS+ long enough to dispute either Sofik or Oishidesu (I suspect Sofik is trolling....just because), & even though I've already got my money's worth out of it in just 1 month, I have noticed a couple of problems with Sony's organisation of PS+ over the last week or so.
The official UK Playstation website currently has 13 games shown on it stating "Download and enjoy this game at a great discounted price with Playstation Plus". None of these games have any discount at all on the store.

I emailed Sony 9 days ago with this information, but they still haven't updated their website, & haven't advised me if I can have the discount on Chime SD, even though it's full price in the store. They emailed me a call reference number that their customer service don't recognise, & they're currently looking into it....for the last 9 days.
Also, yesterday, the store had 18 items in the dedicated PS+ section of the store. 2 were subscriptions, 1 was a trailer, & 2 were free Infamous avatars (sarcastic wooo!). The remaning 13 items have had their PS+ discounts removed, but were still sat in PS+ section of the store. At this point yesterday the whole store had just 2 avatars for + users, & nothing esle. The PS+ section was sorted on the Wednesday 5pm (UK time) update, but that's not the point, & I have no idea how long it was wrong, & only 2 avatars available for + users at any point in time is a bit shit. I want my sodding discounts. I don't expect the freebies to last forever, but the discounts should stay on there a good while, & the website should at least match what the store says.
Sony, give me some consistency.
On the other hand, Crash Commando, Castle Crashers, & Comet Crash for free to name just 3 things I've got out of PS+ so far. We're obviously on the "C's" at the moment.

The PlayStation Plus links on each of those pages is definitely strange. I guess that's the benefit of Microsoft's approach of letting you browse the whole marketplace online. At least all the information relates accurately no matter where you're viewing it from.

As for it being free, that's a shame because everybody should already own it. Anybody who didn't buy Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is a FOOL.
That said, it's also a shame that these "free" games are only free as long as you keep your paid account running.

I love Playstation Plus for what it's done for me in the past, but Sony has been slacking lately with it. One week last month it gave us nothing, and another week, it had terrible Mini. Like Kaden said - give us some consistency, Sony!
I've been a plus member for 7 months and it has payed for itself at least 4x over...
I've gotten Shatter, Lead and Gold, Digger HD, Sonic 1+2, all of Sam and Max: the Devils Playhouse episodes, Stacking, Magic the Gathering 2011, Streets of Rage 2, Goldenaxe, Bomberman Ultra, Crash Commando, 20 free minis, 9 PSone classics, free Dynamic Themes, free avatars, and tons of discounts on tons of stuff like Dead Nation, and the Borderlands bundle with all the DLC for $15... Can someone explain how its not woth it??? And obiously not all those games are for everybody, and some of them are lame even for me (Lilo and Stitch and Digger HD, I'm looking at you), but Sonys not going to give away triple A titles or Final fantasy PSone's for free just because some people are bitching about Plus. I love plus, and love the fact there is new stuff for me about twice a month. At least my $50 a year goes to free games and stuff, and not just the ability to play games online, like other systems.
I may like sony the best of the big 3, but am not a fan boy by any means. I'm an equal opportunity gamer who has all 3 systems, and gets the most out of Sony, hands down.

sofik's just mad that you can choose to get ps+ or not. it frustrates him because it's difficult to rage about something optional.
In Comix Zone you LOSE HEALTH just for PUNCHING crates to clear a path! ARGH! It takes every bit of concentration to finish level 1 with half of your dang health bar
Am I the only person that bought Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection? It has all the games PSN is now releasing. Streets of Rage is still awesome btw
Gourd British: Not to mention that one jump at the end of the first stage. Muck that up if you don't have enough health and it's a rough way to be knocked out of the game early.
@ QSPN - No, you're not. I bought it, loved it, and played through nearly all the games. But I could only beat Comix Zone with the cheat codes activated. The game is just too hard. Streets of Rage, however, is the greatest beat-em-up series in existence - yes, even better than Final Fight. Currently playing Phantasy Star II at the moment.
