PlayStation Network Update: double bogey edition photo

As promised, Sony delivers two new characters for Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds in this week's PlayStation Network update. I'm happy to report that neither one of these characters say or do stupid things like many of the other ones do. Unfortunately I'm still spending just as much time in the bunkers. Gloria and Alex were still worth the $.99 a piece that I paid for them.

Other add-on content for this week includes a 27mb download of Rocketmen: It Came From Uranus! and Rock Band songs from Blondie, The Clash, and Sonic Youth. American Idol Encore also gives 21 song tracks to downloaders.

I don't know if you're a Dragonball person or not, but the Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Demo (477mb) is worth checking out. There's also a demo for Codemasters' action RPG Overlord Raising Hell (857mb). Don't miss the PSP demo for Secret Agent Clank.

There's not many videos this week. One of the most impressive, anime fan or not, is  the announcement trailer for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Regardless of what you think of Naruto, you should still check out how fluid and animation-like this game's action is.

Finally, there's plenty of downloadable freebies this week. There's PS3 themes for HAZE, Overlord Raising Hell, and echochrome, as well as a PSP version of the echochrome theme and some Overload PS3 wallpapers.

Not a bad update this week, Sony!

What are you downloading this week?

Already downloaded and tried the Overlord demo. Seems kinda neat, since I missed out on the earlier 360 installment. Will be getting Rocketmen expansion too. $5? Great price I think

I like how I can dl themes for free from the PSN....I don't like how I gotta pay MS for dashboard themes if I want them....ahhh, DLC.

Never having played the previous DBZ games, but having watched a bunch of the show I found that demo to be disturbingly fun, and quite nice looking.

I skipped the DBZ demo but might have to give it a go after reading this. Also the red band trailer for Pineapple Express is there too, looks to be a funny movie and the red band trailer is better than the other one, even though its mostly similar with a few added scenes, but worth it.

What Corak said. That red-band trailer for The Pineapple Express looked awesome!

I'll be picking up Overlord Raising Hell and maybe checking out some themes. I've never seen a dbz show or game or anything cause i don't dig the anime, but if I get bored i might check it out just for kicks.

@ King

I love reading the furigana on giant kanji like that, because then it seems like he's squeaking out a tiny "ha!"
