PlayStation Network PLAY is back with another set of games and special offers. The promotion will run from July 24 through August 27, allowing for pre-orders of the featured titles; you'll receive an exclusive PlayStation 3 XMB theme for each title you purchase in advance. Here's the release schedule:
- July 31: The Expendables 2 Videogame
- August 7: Sound Shapes (PS3/Vita)
- August 14: Papo & Yo
- August 21: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
These are priced at $14.99 a piece, though PlayStation Plus members can buy them for $11.99 each. Buying two of these games gets you $3 back; three gets you $6; and purchasing all four gets you $10. You don't like The Expendables that much, do you?

I don't know what it is about Square Enix games, but they always feel like they cost too damn much. This is especially true of the handheld titles -- I refused to pick up Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy for $39.99, waiting instead...
