Somebody's gotta do it, so I've deemed myself the ambassador of truth behind the war that is brewing between Sony and Microsoft. We live in exciting times, my gaming entourage, and the hype train headed to E3 2010 is in full steam.

When pegged with a couple of questions that desperately needed some answers, Xbox 360 product manager Aaron Greenberg only defaulted to old Project-Natal news from X10 heard earlier this year. Clearly, Microsoft is holding back on any major revelations until June.

Where was Sony hardware? Marketing director, John Koller, and I shared our own very intimate moments when we talked shop, and their contender for the "Motion Controller Wars" the PlayStation Move. He laughed at all my awful jokes, but he was a straight shooter when I asked him the most important question ... Is the PlayStation Move better than Project-Natal?

I'm actually looking forward to move a lot more since my Wii died. People are skeptical but I know somebody out there is making the killer app.

Nice, I like ur interview style. You know, if you work hard enough, and keep at it, you could become the next Adam Sessler!! How sweet would that be? jk, obviously.

Natal wins, but that's just for it's potential.

Move doesn't look bad, I just haven't seen it do anything yet that hasn't already been done on the Wii.

I don't know, the lack of feedback in natal is a letdown, but natal has greater options, albeit limited for cripples and small rooms. They say they'll have the best 2010 but since January I haven't seen much but more crap come out. More Halo milking, call of duty milking, just more milking.

I feel there are some really interesting things cooking up with Natal that they are keeping secret until E3. I hope they have Natal personal trainer fit where you have a person trainer that motovates you counts your reps, and reads your body for progress and get fitness acheivments!

IF i have to use a motion controller, i want to hold it. The move looks like a souped up wiimote with motion plus built in. Most wii games don't take advantage of the motion plus because nintendo split the market.

If you do a thorough and you'll find many articles that say Natal laqs a lot.Don't expect there won't be issues with the final build...there will be a lot.
Move on the other hand will too have some issues (not as much as Natal)since it is already a well known and tested "formula" (Wii) plus Sony is into Move's development since Ps2 days (way before Wii)

At the moment, I think that the Move looks better purely for practicality. Surely there is a limit to how much you can do without buttons? And at the moment I have yet to be convinced that Natal can do any more than the Eyetoy could in 2003.

That said, I am almost certain that both (or at least one) will be flooded with brainless party games like 'Carnival Games'. In fact, I put money on it here and now that Game Party 3 will be a launch game with one of them.

Look, R3Y, I know you're the video editor (so this is your job) but man, easy with the cuts. My brain is reeling from watching a cut every two seconds. Like, just let it rest and focus on the interview for 30 seconds before you cut back to the marketing videos we've all seen.

Natal is better hardware, but Move is a more practical gaming solution that probably will be inexpensive as as opposed to natal costing the same amount as like a new ds

@Beezy603 "I haven't seen the Move do anything the wiimote doesn't soooooo...yeah. "

This is a true statement. It does sidestep the obvious point of comparing the hardware. It may only do everything the Wii does, but it does it in frickin' HD! I would pay so much more for a WiiHD than I will have to pay for PlayStation Move. I'm likely to give it a fair shot to fill that void.

The "Minority Tech Demo" show what could do with the move.

The glowing Ball is "silly" a bit, but soooooooo much usefull !

It could track in all axis ( X,Y,Z ), because when you go forward the TV, from the Camera perspective, the Ball get bigger and smaller when you go away! So it's easy and fast to track for the ps3 !!!

Yah, it basic logic, but people seem to forget that !

Okay, a few things:

1. The Triforce tattoo on the back of your hand is fucking awesome.

2. I think I actually need to see a doctor after watching the scene transitions in that video.

3. I officially think this is going to be better than Natal. I still think the Wii will have the best use of motion controls, but out of Sony and Microsoft, I think the Move is the clear winner.

Up until now, I've been Sony-bashing for what seems like a desperate attempt to rip off Wii's success, but after watching some footage of the fighting game, I really think it looks awesome - leagues better than what the Wii is be capable of. It's so precise!

Natal looks good, as well, but I think Microsoft's secrecy about details is really hurting its publicity. Hopefully E3 will clear this up.

I doubt Microsoft has anything super revolutionary planned for Natal it's smart to keep details under wraps for as long as possible. You don't want you're competitors to try to copy you before you can get your new product to market, especially if your competitor has already tried doing that like Sony has.

Yeah, Microsoft needs to be careful. Sony could probably "one up" them by mimicking what their doing with natal, and still release the move when they planed to. I mean look at this video: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gdc-10-sony/63057 They would just need to figure out a way to track the lower half of your body.

One is tracking full body, literally a cloud of thousand of points to recreate a 3D skeleton with FK anim. The other is tracking one or four glowing markers with occlusion.
