"My work is to tell Home is not sh*t, that is my contribution to the society."
Pretty depressing.
That's my experience with Home.
Its not shit. Its shit covered in vomit.
Shot it in the head and move on, along with PSPgo. Don't waste money on this stuff when you could put extra money into something thats actually good, Sony. Like gold plated diapers for Naughty Dog.
"3 times since Home beta has come out I accidentally went into it instead of the Playstation Store. Each time has made me hate Home more then the last."
Glad I'm not the only one.
Just like MAG, taking online gaming to the next level..
Just like any game with online capabilities, taking online gaming to the next level.
With any luck the proper release will see the tv's added as that was a major point in the pre beta information. Me and my buddies could get together in my home apartment and watch videos off of my hdd - that would be win.
The only thing Home needs to do in my eyes is improve loading times. The one thing that usually prevents me from checking it out at least once a month is that I know 3/4ths of my time is going to be spend looking at a progress bar.
"If 12 million people use it on a daily basis how is it shit? "
Complete bullshit. 12 million is not the number of people on a daily basis, it's the number of people that have used Home, period. Hell, I'm one of them.. because I used it a whole one time. It's purely a marketing number, nothing more.
VGSWID: Playstation HOME
...in our future? I (and many others) would love to see that!
it would be a decent article if he actually backed his opinion with some sort of actual reasoning, but all this article is trollish dribble. you could probably find better arguments against HOME in Fanboy arguements. Its said to see an article like this by a paid professional.
Some of them are actually fun and there are quite a few. The problem is that there's almost literally ZERO announcements or advertising to tell people WHERE the semi-fun parts of Home are.
So you can hop on in, choose game spaces at random and watch loading screens for minutes at a time in hopes that you'll stumble onto something fun, or Sony can just find a way to tell us where the fuck the GAMES are!
Also,
@Bakewell,
That makes absolutely no sense at all.
Like DinnertimeNinja said, XBox live and home are not really comparable. Closest thing xboxlive has to home is maybe gameroom, and that is a stretch. Both are a bit shit.
