Sony has now launched an initiative they're calling the "PlayStation Logo Licensing Program." This means that you'll start seeing the PlayStation logo slapped across all manner of what the company is referring to as "lifestyle products."
That could (and does) mean practically anything could qualify. Imagine a world where you can drink coffee out of your branded mug while wearing a branded T-shirt and branded shorts, standing on your branded floor mat in the middle of your kitchen (which probably has a PlayStation-branded toaster in it).
No doubt this will be a nice little bit of extra cash in Sony's pocket. Me? I'm looking forward to the inevitable double-phallic PlayStation marital aid. I guess PlayStation really will do everything now.
