Play Wolfenstein 3D in Wolfenstein: The New Order

Escape from Castle Wolfenstein again

Wolfenstein: The New Order is out today and that's all well and good.

Instead of talking about what's new, let's take a look at this easter egg in which you take a nap and play through the first level of Wolfenstein 3D. It's not the first time those iconic sliding doors have made their way into a modern game and it surely won't be the last. It's become tradition.

Truth be told, this secret is one of the cooler things I've seen about The New Order. I mean, it's not going to get me to rush out and buy a copy, but if and when I play the game, I'll seek it out. It's a good thing no one is around to hear me shout "Mein Leben!" to myself repeatedly.
