We know you’re having fun popping zombie skulls (or human skulls) with your friends in Valve’s post-apoctolyptic shooter
Left 4 Dead. In fact, you may have been playing non-stop since its release. In this regard you’re a pro and you need pro players to match your mad skills now, right?
Luckily, this Saturday at 9:00 EST, the developers behind
L4D will be making a special collective appearance on Xbox Live. A total of twelve people with intimate knowledge of the game will be out in full force, ready to hurt you and your buddies in places that you can only imagine.
A list of the developers is included after the break. To get in on the action, all you have to do is send a friend invite to any of these Gamertags. Remember, this is a one-time only shot, put on by the guys that run Microsoft’s “Game with Developers” event. Who is going to be in on this?

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Are they doing versus or campaign?
Left4Dead Dev10
Left4Dead Dev11
Left4Dead Dev12
Putting the space after "Dev" exceeds the character limit.
I was also able to add Left4Dead Dev13... I wonder who that is.
@Wexx: I imagine this is an event organized more by Microsoft than by Valve.
I bet you that Kim Swift gets the vast majority of the invites.
Only xbox live host those freaky game with fame things, really how much does microsoft pay people to play with the public?
This is a Microsoft event. It'd be silly for MS to sponsor an event on Steam. I mean, if Valve wants to do a Steam event on their own time, they're welcome to, but this is specifically an MS promotional event, which MS no doubt asked/told them to do. They've done this sort of thing plenty of times before. It's not really worth complaining about. It makes sense.
If anyone wants to complain about anything, complain that Valve has never played with its customers before, regardless of the platform. (Unless they have, of course.)
And I aint bitching that Valve is publishing for consoles. As long as things aren't dumbed down from the beginning for the console CONTROLLERS, then I won't care. Note that I didn't say players, just the controllers..since they kinda limit things.
