A number of Mortal Kombat-related events and panels are scheduled for San Diego Comic-Con this week. Perhaps most importantly, NetherRealm Studios' Ed Boon is going to announce the fourth downloadable character at the "Warner Premiere Digital Series" panel.

Even better, if you're attending SDCC, you can play with this mystery fighter before the rest of us. This is happening at the GameStop near the convention center:

  • Timing: 7:00 - 10:00pm on Thursday, July 21
  • Location: GameStop in the Westfield Horton Plaza
  • Address: 530 Horton Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101

But wait, there's more!

Stars from Mortal Kombat Legacy and Mortal Kombat co-creator and NetherRealm Studios Creative Director Ed Boon will be at the Warner Bros. Booth (#4545) for autographs and pictures on Thursday, July 21 from 11:30am - 12:30pm.

The "Warner Premiere Digital Series" panel is taking place at the Hilton Bayfront - Indigo Room (Thursday, July 21 from 2:00 - 3:00pm) where the ninth and final installment of Mortal Kombat Legacy will premiere. As mentioned above, this is where Boon will come on to unveil the new DLC character.
