Do you want a medal for pointing that out? Old news for you but apparently not for many others. There's nothing wrong with writing about something that is slightly older news. Take in mind, some people only read Destructoid. And this news isn't restricted by time. It's not like writing an article about a contest that ended two months ago. It's entertaining and interesting for some who didn't know. You know how many people watched these video's? 1st one only 932 times and the second one 807 times which is nothing. Comments like yours are rather snooty and therefor old news.
2-I have L4D on both platforms but my PC can't run it
3-I'm tempted to make that map on Farcry 2.

If you make that map for Far Cry 2 you are God.
That's gotta be in the top 10 most unrealistic expectations for a game I've ever heard.

I would like to see how far this goes into the game though....
There is more than the default weapons, you have to find them. And the AI director is setup so it only spawns hordes and specials, the tank seems to only come in some of the later maps after you should already be well equipped.
@Collette - Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm glad that word's getting out about some of the great mods for L4D -- there's a ton of interesting projects that have been worked on for a while and many that have already seen release. I just like to poke a lil fun every now and then. I kid because I love. :)
Modification: (in terms of game mods) are changes made to the base game that alter either weaponry, gameplay, items or otherwise MODifying the game to the point of differentiating it from its original form.
Custom Map: Using the exact same game, change-free, with nothing but a unique and/or new(different) map.
Not saying its bad (the Resident Evil 2 MAP video posted on Dtoid was awesome) and I've never played a SH game more than 1 hour but this one looks pretty accurate, thus cool, however, I guess I'm just being technical. Good story/post! :D
