There's a big competition revolving around Kinect Sports Rivals, where the grand prize winner can win up to $10,000 in cash plus a trip to one of four destinations around the world: Bora Bora, China, Machu Picchu, or the Swiss Alps. Runner-up winners will also receive cash prizes, all the way down to 11th place.

The Kinect Sports Rivals World Championship begins when the game officially releases on April 8. Participants from the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, the U.K., France, and Germany can go head-to-head, with it all culminating in a live, in-person championship finale at San Diego Comic-Con.

This almost makes playing a Kinect game worth it.
