What's the difference between playing as a zombie or a human in a world where zombies know how fire machine guns?

Good point, I almost forgot the zombies here are pretty much just people with grey skin and tattered clothes now. Well at least dead space doesn't have humanoid enemies shooting at me...

@Jonathan Holmes I wonder if it will have the same appeal as the multiplayer mode in Assassin's Creed. Not knowing exactly who or where your enemy was but being aware of their presence. Though I don't think the element of surprise will play in as much with Resident Evil.

This is why I have hated what RE has become, thought I do have RE6 pre-ordered........only because my wife wants to play co-op.
I imagine RE 7 will have time trial races against zombies.

Agreed. I really don't like the "Horror turned action" spin on RE6.Its like giving you an AK47 in Amnesia. I really miss finding keys, solving puzzles, and moving through dark environments knowing you are trapped with monsters and you have to survive.

I miss the times when the series was about a zombie outbreak in a relatable location and surviving while investigating and escaping. While I loved the gameplay in Code Veronica, the series jumped the shark at that point.
Already pointed out, but I was also going to state how the "zombie" mode will probably just be like any other competetive multiplayer mode, but whith some players playing in zombie skins. And honestly a zombie mode where you actually play as a mildly slow zombie that gets killed after a few shots might not be fun to play as anyway despite how it sounds.
The zombies have guns? So it will be just like a shooter? Bummer. Hopefully we can invade as other gunless monsters.
I LIKE. Also I hope we get to do journal entries. "Ugly face so killed him. Had trouble so hit lag switch. Itchy. Tasty."

Assassins Creed was one of my fav mp games this gen. This has the potential to take that crown. No back to The Ship.
Don´t know why people think that playing as a zombie means ¨Regular character with a gun and a zombie skin¨. You guys sure lack imagination
Permit me to stifle my excitement for yet another tacked on multiplayer mode to a series that never needed it in the first place.
Hell yes! it's like Perfect Dark Spec Ops mode, which was awesome! Resident Evil 6 is gonna be so filled with content BEFORE any DLC and thats amazing.
