Vanquish will be hitting US shores on October 19 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a few days earlier than the Japanese release of Platinum's next epic game. Additionally, GameStop will have an exclusive pre-order offer called the "Tri-Weapon pack" which will gives players three extra weapons: the "Boost Machine Gun," "Anti-Armor Pistol" and the "Laser Cannon."

Too bad I can't play it.
I also want the PS3 version to be on par with the 360.
From what I've seen, it seems like Bayonetta/DMC-style insanity with some more traditional gun-play.
After Lost Planet 2 I am nervous for this.

It's out in Europe on the 22nd October.
If this is not the Game of the Year I will be unhappy. Mikami's legacy in the crème de la crème is already pretty secure (Resident Evil 4, P.N.03, Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, Devil May Cry and God Hand fuck me) but I don't want this to be just special I NEED it to be.
Now the decision of which system- PS3 is lead platform this time, right? I'd hate for another title to be given the 30fps support while its sibling is 60.
