Are you one of the many bajillions who went apeshit over Plants vs. Zombies? If so, then a winner is you, for there seems to be some strong hints at a sequel.
According to the above teaser image, we have to save the date of August 2 as some form of undead-flavored news is on the way! The general consensus is that this is the announcement of Plants vs. Zombies 2, although we're sure PopCap will remain tight-lipped about it until next month.
Given how rabid the fanbase is for that game, this small hint ought to be enough to perk their Friday up.

We were warned with Plants vs. Zombies. We should have been planting those Pea Shooters and Cob Cannons all this time.
The real zombie uprising starts August 2nd....shit!
Now, a serious prediction: Maybe PvZ on Steam will finally get Steamplay? (Read: Mac available.) Though, and announcement of PvZ2 would rock my jock.

Maybe. But something would have to be done to make it work well enough with a controller in hand. I just can't see how you could put the plants and such down fast enough on some of the more intense levels. I'm sure something could be done, but it would take some modification. At least, I would think. Maybe I'm wrong about that.
I think some kind of controllershortcuts or modifiers could be helpful.

August 2 is a Monday. XBLA games come out on a Wednesday. August 2nd is more likely the date of an event (taking place in San Francisco) announcing whatever this is teasing -- an XBLA release, a sequel, anything. We'll know soon.
