My village elders often spoke about the mysterious Realtime Worlds-developed APB, and how one day, according to the legends, the beta version of the game would finally be available to those who wanted to play it as well as those who registered themselves for the beta just for the hell of it.
That day, according to the latest word from PAX 2009, will be coming sooner than you may think. Chris Collins told Eurogamer that the closed beta is "weeks rather than months away from starting."
Around the office, we're all curious about one thing and one thing only. Is APB's ambitious character creator powerful enough to recreate Chet Nicholson in videogame form? There's only one way to find out.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
