Place your bets: Resident Evil's Hunk vs. Pyramid Head
A few months ago, we featured Uncharted Blood Lines, a fan movie by filmmaker Brett Driver. Brett has uploaded a number of game-themed videos to his YouTube page in the past, and now he's working on Videogame Deathmatch, a new series that pits game characters from different series against one another. Fans of ScrewAttack's Death Battle may notice that VGDM shares the same premise. However, Death Battle fights are animated, whereas VGDM fights are live-action. I think there's enough room on the Web for both to coexist peacefully, right? In the first episode, Hunk from Resident Evil squares off against the iconic Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. It's a delightfully cheesy confrontation that incorporates game elements from the respective series, such as SH's air raid siren and RE's inventory screen. It's a quality video, with the conspicuous exception of the briefcase that has an inkjet printout of the Umbrella logo carelessly taped on the side. Couldn't you guys, like, paint that on or something? Resident Evil VS Silent Hill [YouTube] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I'm a little disappointed that they used movie Pyramid Head instead of the proper Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head, but I guess the world can't be perfect.
It was a cool video though! Hunk, because let's face it, if 2 pyramid heads couldn't beat clerk with crappy fighting skills one sure as hell is not gonna beat someone that has survived a whole armies of B.O.W.s over and over. That was surprisingly awesome, and actually really well made... And yeah, the briefcase thing didn't really need the umbrella label flapping on it... This is fucking incredible! Possibly the quickest Like, Favourite and Subscription I've ever given out. Thanks for the find, Tony! Would of been allot shorter if Pyramid head had just ripped off Hunk skin and thrown it at the camera. 7:30 PM on 05.24.2013 HAWP: 'Like that movie with the horses'And here we are again, back with shares of super-late Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'? episodes.
