Pizza power! More TMNT: Turtles in Time: Re-Shelled footage photo

So was I the only one that completely missed it when Ubisoft finally "officially" confirmed the Turtles in Time remake for XBLA? I mean, we knew it was coming. I just don't ever remember Ubisoft officially announcing it.

Re-Shelled will of course feature four player co-op and it looks like it will have four player local co-op as well. You'll even be able to do some system linking for some multiplayer fun. How that is even remotely neccessary since everyone shares the same screen anyway is beyond me.

GameVideos did a comparison video of some of the sections with the classic version to the new version. The action looks so good and best of all, the music is similar to the original score.

Check out the video after the break. What do you all think of it?

The impression that I got from the first vidro that came out lead me to believe that the combat in 3D was going to be pretty awkward. I'm not sure if that was just my imagination or if it's been improved upon. Either way this looks much better.

I'm completely in.

Yeah, I'm not digging the 3D style. Who the hell walks and attacks upwards in a side scrolling beat'em up? It looks awkward to boot. Skip!

@Bigmoose85

If I remember correctly, it IS coming to the PSN. It's just a timed exclusive for the XBLA. The moment this is released for the PSN, I'm gonna be ON it.

"The remake will be a timed exclusive for the 360, with a PlayStation Network due "later this year." Titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-shelled, it's due worldwide next month."

Still looks as fun as I remember it being all those years ago. Although, I am with Pew with the fact that with it being 3D, it makes it look a little silly. But still, it's mutated turtles going around and beating up crap. Logic is not the first thing I'm going to be looking for.

I'm with CypherVR on this one;

MUST HAVE ORIGINAL AS A OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE FEATURE.

That will make it a must buy, otherwise I'll just be curious but not want to touch.

Don't like the generic 3D of Re-shelled. Get some art design in there.
The 2D had more personality. Here's hoping for a 'retro/classic' option.

I'm in with this game! i also want the original as unlockable, like PoP: Sands of Time had it.

One thing worries me, I hope when you play 4 co-op, there are more enemies, otherwise it will pretty easy.

Meh. I'd rather they do it like Street Fighter II HD Remix. I just can't get behind this 3D look. Makes me think of the dumb movies that have come out whereas the old version makes me think of the awesome cartoons. This game would look amazing if it were redrawn 2D sprites.

Hey, Ubisoft made a TMNT game that doesn't suck. Well, kinda, since it's being built off Konami's original foundation.

I personally like the 3d style. The arcade version still exists for those of you who it, I applaud the developers for trying something new. I especially like the 3d animation on the boss they showed at the end. I'm very excited for this game.
