Just FYI: Nintendo cannot create a FW to brick modified Wiis. Why? Mod Chips are perfectly legal, (its what is most done with them that isn't) and once you buy a Wii, you can modify it whatever way you please. You cannot play burned games on them, but until they find a way to make Modchips illegal, fat chance of that happening. That being said, if they ever created a FW to brick a Wii, they'd have to be prepared to send out (free of charge) a brand new Wii to everyone that got bricked... unless they wanted to go to court as you cannot create malicious software and mass distribute it. And all that only applies in most places where its illegal to backup copyrighted material.
