Pink Samurai's beaded Nintendo shop

Some people play video games. A smaller percentage of people play video games and craft 3x3 beaded pixel-perfect video game sprites that also glow in the dark. For this reason, the Annapolis based artist The Pink Samurai pretty much has a monopoly on the market.  Don't let the fragile appearance of the bead arrangement fool you. Her wares are hermetically glued down on sturdy corkboard or magnets, so they might survive your Chai Tea binge (although cold beverages are recommended). The only thing missing is a  guarantee to drop the panties of any Nintendo fangirl (or fanboy, if you're like CTZ).

Check out her shop on Etsy -- she can't fill Xmas orders anymore but does take custom 8 or 16 bit custom orders. I wonder what kind of artisan magic can be performed with a commission like Toilet Kids? Tempting!  Here's my favorite picks from her present and past work:

Those would be cool to make, my friend is a huge nintendo fan, I may order him some of those or find the beads at a local store and try a hand at it.
