Phosphor games bringing The Dark Meadow to iOS photo

Phosphor Games, the studio behind Awakened, is creating a UDK-powered iOS game with an eye to creating another "AAA" mobile experience. It's called The Dark Meadow, it's played in first-person, and it looks creepy as Hell.

"From the start, our vision for The Dark Meadow was to create a top-tier console gaming experience that works on iOS devices from 3GS to iPad 2," said studio director Chip Sineni. "From the real-time cinematics and in-depth storyline, to the gesture-based ranged and melee combat systems, our goal is to integrate the best of hardcore console gaming with the intuitive ease of the casual mobile world."

I'm eager for more "console-like" iOS experiences, so Phosphor can count me in!

The Dark Meadow now on sale for one pathetic dollar!

If you were interested in The Dark Meadow but felt its original asking price was a bit too steep, you've got no excuse now. Phosphor Games' darkly humorous slash 'em up is now a measly dollar on iTunes, so if you've got a buc...more

Review: The Dark Meadow

The Dark Meadow gets spooky trailer, spooky screens

Here's a slick little teaser trailer for Phosphor's The Dark Meadow, an iOS title I'm pretty excited about. The video is really nicely done, and seems to indicate that this will most certainly be a more involving type of mobile game.  We've also got some concept art in the gallery, and there's an official site for you to start gawping at. Good times!more

The Dark Meadow screens are all spooky n' stuff

Here's a gallery of creepy screenshots from Phosphor's The Dark Meadow, which was announced yesterday for iOS devices. It seems that more studios are getting confident enough to put what some would call "proper" games on iOS,...more

Apple, Banner Saga studio frustrated by iOS game market

The Banner Saga is coming to iOS, but porting isn't the developer's major concern. That's pretty much already done. Stoic's main dilemma is how much the game should cost on the platform. "Apple is frustrated, along with every...more

Tormentum sure looks like a messed up adventure game

It seems that both horror and adventure games are in rude health in 2014, so it's no surprise to see a game combine the two. The trailer above is for Tormentum, a new indie point-and-click game from developer OhNoo that has ...more
