Hating on jim is so fucking stupid. Who gives a fuck how much he weighs? It doesn't take away from the fact that his articles are informative (even thought it is sometimes twisted) and funny. I also don't understand how people think he is bias.
@Wakatashi You are free to feel however you want about Jim Sterling, and you are free to post your case and feelings about things related to gaming, but when you start personally attacking someone you don't even know, you're setting yourself up for the ban hammer.

Wakatashi, Just wait for the yearly "I'm not really a troll, i just love all video games, firmware updates make me angry because i'm not able to play a game for 3 minutes" article by Jim. It's usually right after one of the quarterly "I'm not a troll that just rates popular games low" article.

Does working around the clock include going to sporting games and such? Does this directly help the efforts of restoring the network? SVP Rob Dyer and associates were seen Tuesday, May 10 at the SF Giants game, comfortably seated in the premier Sony seats. While the company, its publishers, and its customers have all been at a loss in $$$ and personal security - Sony executives are indeed "working around the clock" - in their own conspicuous fashion.
Thursday, May 12, SVP Rob Dyer and President Jack Tretton were seen enjoying themselves at the San Jose Sharks game. Again - "working around the clock". Likely, this "business and entertainment" is sponsored by Sony, while its team and others are really working - and publishers and partners are losing money. Even in this hit to Sony, seems like the boys are taking it in stride and enjoying the perks of their status and resources.
"Nothing about how Sony might compensate the potential millions of dollars that companies have lost.
It doesn't really look good enough to be sent to a company that may have lost a ton of cash because it trusted Sony. You can check it out below. Methinks there'll be a fair few publishers who won't be satisfied."
And publishers shouldn't be satisfied. Transparent communication, good or bad, should be demanded and given. But since the "efforts" being made aren't totally in line with the expectations of their partners or the public, its no wonder little or vague communication has been given from this SVP.
In general, as a consumer, and as a publisher, the business practices of the Sony executives should be examined and questioned. Given their recent public appearances this week, it doesn't seem like their priorities are the same as what is expected by the publishers, public, and others.

Even more fun is that some people are reporting hard locks (as in kill power to the system) and even the old HDD bug being magically reintroduced AGAIN with 3.61.
Sony may have been hardcore testing the network but it looks like not so much in regards to the new firmware.

@PrinceHeir: Um, EternalDeathSlayer is not a troll, especially not a troll in the league of sofik or Wakatashi. Sure, his opinions can be a bit abrasive at times similar to Jim's, but they are NOT filled with pure hate and venom like the other two.
I would add The Legendary Biohazard to the list of trolls though. If Wakatashi gets banned, then Biohazard needs to be on the ban watch list. I see nothing but future trouble from him.

So I get on PSN, link my Steam account in Portal 2, and when I try to redeem my PC copy it tells me my code "has already been redeemed by an existing Steam account and is therefore invalid."
I was having fun with PSN back on....until my twin brother ragequit on me while playing Portal 2.

During the outage I bought, Portal 2, MK and Socom, and can't play any online or get my PC copy of Portal, and Socom's single player is by no means the highlight!
I even bought Halo Reach to pass the time, and to give it a fair shot.
But it's fucking shite. Like terrible. I'd say 4/10.
So yay for the PSN being back so I can play some GOOD games!!!! Yay!
