As with most big-name titles, it seems like offering downloadable content for Fable II is an obvious move to make. While Peter Molyneux hasn't outright confirmed or denied DLC for Lionhead's pride and joy, he does hint that it's likely to happen.
In an interview conducted by VideoGamer, Molyneux says that "without any official announcements, I would say that we'd be pretty dumb not to plan [DLC]."
He continues, "what I would say, if we're going to do DLC then I definitely don't want it to be just a whole load of new weapons and armor. I just don't want it to be that. It needs to be something a bit more tangible and it would be nice if you didn't have to wait months and months for it as well."
From that description, it sounds like if Lionhead does innevitably release DLC, it'll be pretty rockin'. Perhaps there will be additional content a la The Lost Chapters? That'd be good, right?

I hope he sticks to his idea of not crapping out some armor and weapons. A new quest would be cool.

Mass Effect DLC would be terrible though. A single extra mission? Come on. One thing that Fable has that beats other RPG's is the co-op of course, so maybe they could centre some DLC around that? A damn hard quest which really needs two people to get through together, and seperating ala the tower in Infinite Undiscovery at certain points. I think there's a lot of promise, and I'm glad they've already thought about it.
