Juggernaut: It's been agreed by a lot of researchers that humans have always been omnivores and opportunistic in what they eat, be it fruit, vegetable or animal.

And the whole 'we don't have claws, big teeth etc' argument? That's BS. Modern man (well, last two or so million years) has always used tools, who needs limiting, inconvenient claws when there's a handy rock laying nearby?

Look, I don't have a problem with people wanting to be vegetarians - it's their choice. I just dislike greatly when they decide that their way is 'right' and set about trying to force their ideals on other people. And, unless I've been very much mistaken, PETA aren't exactly what one would call 'moderates' now are they?

Does this game reveal colonel's secret recipe? Is it the brutality and inhumane treatment of animals that makes them so delicious? Man, now I'm hungry.

This game is actually pretty fun. I got disappointed when I got "Too Nice", so I'd keep trying until I got "Meaner Than Mama". Gotta make them turkeys BLEEEED!! >:D

Also, I like that they try and say farm turkeys have personalities and taste in music. Farm turkeys are the stupidest animals ever.

@unstoppablejuggernaut: 1) We have omnivore teeth like any other "ape". You are aware Chimpanzees have cannibalistic tendencies, right? They kill and eat rival chimps in territorial fights, and have similar teeth to humans. We're designed to eat meat, we can just opt not to since we can get protein from vegetable sources.

2) PETA is a hate mongering extremist terrorist cult. They support violence and offensive propaganda, so long as they get their point across. They worship animals and treat fellow humans like shit. I think "fuck PETA" is perfectly acceptable.

3) I was a strict vegan for over two years for health related reasons. So don't act like I don't know the benefits of not eaing meat. Your arguments are just incorrect and uneducated.

I lost a friend because she married someone who would "Vomit if he saw anyone around him eating meat". Now, please, people. This is utter stupidity to refuse to eat things that nourish you. I wonder how many PETA members actually adopt strays. I wonder how many of them actually strike out against REAL animal cruelty. Where was PETA when those Canadian boys Microwaved those peoples poor cat? Where was the COURAGEOUS members of PETA when those two black girls burned kittens to death in their carrier because they were "bored" and then laughed about it?
Loving animals is more than simply not eating meat. The same Vegetarians that won't adopt a cat or a dog because it eats "meat". Utter stupidity again. if you LOVE animals, you seek their companionship. You understand that there is a circle of life, and a food chain. Animals die each day, But not just because we're hungry. they die when they try to cross the street. They die of starvation under an abandoned house because someone forgot about them. They die of disease. There are billions of deaths on this planet each day, and if HALF the human race went Vegan, we would suffer a sever overpopulation of Deer, Bovine, Foxes, Coyotes, mountain lions, rabbits, squirrels, and so on. My point being is that Human beings are part of an ecosystem, part of that ecosystem is us thinning the animal population by EATING them, and not letting the death go to waste. We use almost all the parts of the animal when we kill them. (Leather, fur, bones, (even ears and hooves for our animal companions.)

I guess I have a different view on the article and PETA because I've been told by someone who is a vegetarian to "not eat meat" at MY dinner table because it'll make him puke! #@CK YOU, dude! Vegetarians are a childish breed. Anyone who "won't eat meat because it hurts animals" has a juvenile look at the world. They don't see that for some people killing animals is essential to SURVIVAL (see:Eskimos)

And the final note: Your body needs the protein in meat to be healthy. A Vegetarian diet doesn't contain the nutrients you need to have a healthy diet.
