Okay this is "my research". Farming can be as dirty (and is) as ranching. Plus farming gives and excuse for amonia nitrate, the chemical behind the Oklahoma City bombing. I don't see man surviving without meat, so I don't place alot of weight in the vegitartian and vegan general consincious.

If a regular person and a vegan were dropped in the middle of a forest, which one would survive? My money is on the normal guy because he has more food options. Man also has eyes towards the front of their face allowing them to single out targets (think Bear, wolf, cat, ape, etc). As well as canines and incisors for the ripping and tearing of meat. Thus, in my opinion, eating meat is just fine.

I also have isseus with the whole, animals have consious feelings to arguement. I mean even bugs have a basic causality in their system. A fight or flight reaction based upon basic animal traits. Things that are even seen in some plants. But until every chicken and cow can learn basic tricks like shake hands, sit, roll over, beg, then it is a useless arguement. This is proven even more with plants like the venus fly trap and the Mimosa punica, both of which have the ability to move.
