Oh my. Those are mostly things I care about. Maybe MS' conference won't be the dud I anticipated.

I give so little of a shit about Gears 3, Kinect, and pretty much everything Microsoft usually has to offer.
Last years conference was such a dud, and they're going to have to pull out big stops this year to retain relevance.

Is this really all that exciting to people? Don't get me wrong, I'm a XboX 360 owner and I want Microsoft to impress me at this show, because they sure didn't last year. But parading out exclusive DLC for games that are already out, or multiplatform games that we already know about, just doesn't excite me. The Halo: CE remake, well I do want it, because I loved playing that game like 7, or 8 years ago, but it still doesn't really excite me all that much either. Do I really want to pay $60 for a 10yo game?
I'm really not trying to be negative here, but when I think about what Microsoft could possible announce, that would excite me, I honestly can't think of anything. They have no big surprising 1st Party games anymore and its really starting to show now, more than ever. They need more 1st Party games, but what internal studio's do they have left, that could make them? People say Nintendo doesn't rely on 3rd Party's enough, which is true, but I think Microsoft relies on the 3rd Party's way too much!

I think it's just to personalize the badge. If the Microsoft reps can eye your badge and find out you like Marcus more than Master Chief, they might be inclined to show you Gears 3 versus more Halo commemoration footage.

Its kinda hard to be excited about a remake of a shooter, especially considering 9 other shooter have or are coming out this year (killzone 3, battlefield 3, modern warefare 3 , resistance 3 etc).
