Persona Q was the best-selling game in Japan last week, according to numbers obtained by the sales trackers at Media Create. The Atlus dungeon crawler sold 186,000 boxed copies in its first few days on the market, lifting Nintendo 3DS LL sales over the 30,000 mark during the period.

The supersized portable sold roughly 18,000 units in each of the three previous weeks.

Mario Kart 8 charted at number two with 73,000 sales in its first full week on the market. In total, the Nintendo's racer has achieved just shy of 400,000 domestic sales since its May 29 launch. Wii U sales dropped to 13,000 over the period, down from 18,000 the previous week.

Level-5's million-seller Yo-Kai Watch rounded out the top three with 33,000 sales.

Persona Q coming November 25, let's loop the opening until then

Persona Q, the chibi 3DS amalgam of Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters, has a North American release date: November 25. The opening is still amazing. The premium edition is pretty nice, too. Shadow of the Labyrinth has won me over since its announcement -- or maybe it's just the dearth of Persona -- so I'm pretty ready.more

Have a Persona Q E3 trailer to balance out the gruff and guns

I woke up at 4 in the morning, got on a plane, got to LA, and went straight to the press room with my luggage (too early for hotel check in) and then we started covering Microsoft's press conference. Watching this adorable Persona Q trailer was a nice breather. Don't forget to breathe.more

Watch this Persona Q opening with me like 50 times
