I would never let you forget that Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is coming to 3DS later this year. I'll tie today's reminder to the announcement of a premium edition release for the title in North America. For $79.99 you'll get the The Wild Cards Premium Edition, which includes:

  • Special packaging
  • Tarot Card Set #2
  • an art booklet
  • a soundtrack CD
  • a deluxe hard case for 3DS XL -- previously only available in Japan

And $49.99 gets you the normal retail release, but the first run printing comes with the same tarot card set and special packaging.

Atlus would like to stress that these versions are only available in limited quantities. You should pre-order now.  They advise getting orders in by mid-July to be safe.

Which Persona crew did you choose in Persona Q?

While the story eventually normalizes with both groups, you have somewhat of a difficult decision at the start of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. Do you go with the Persona 3 crew, or the gang from Persona 4? I know a few...more

Some concoctions will leave you feeling sick to your stomach. You need look no further than Yukiko Amagi's culinary misadventures for proof of that. Other pairings seem to work far better than they probably should, like Atlus...more

You already know you want it but here's a Persona Q preview anyway

It was almost surreal to be playing Persona Q in English for the first time this past week. It came out of nowhere late last year, a fantasy game mixing Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters in a new 3DS game that uses Etri...more

Atlus shares first look the Persona Q localization

Persona Q coming November 25, let's loop the opening until then

Persona Q, the chibi 3DS amalgam of Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters, has a North American release date: November 25. The opening is still amazing. The premium edition is pretty nice, too. Shadow of the Labyrinth has won me over since its announcement -- or maybe it's just the dearth of Persona -- so I'm pretty ready.more

Review: Ironfall: Invasion

Developing a Gears of War-like cover shooter for Nintendo 3DS is unconventional, but that's just what VD-Dev did with Ironfall: Invasion. Featuring both local and online multiplayer, as well as an 11-stage campaign, the project seems fairly ambitious for the handheld, and as you'd expect, there are mixed results. While multiplayer turned out well enough, the campaign is a mess.more
