Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth gets flashy new video

9:00 AM on 12.27.2013

Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, the dungeon crawling Nintendo 3DS spin-off featuring the casts of both Persona 3 and Persona 4.

The video showcases a little of everything one might expect from the upcoming role-player, setting the stage for the Etrian Odyssey-style journey with a blend of gameplay footage and snippets of lovely animated scenes. Despite the cutesy art direction, it definitely still feels appropriately dark and brooding. So don't fret too much, chibi-haters.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will arrive in Japan on June 5, 2014. With any luck, hopefully a localized version isn't far behind. This is looking ace and I want to play it yesterday!

Persona Q coming November 25, let's loop the opening until then

Persona Q, the chibi 3DS amalgam of Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters, has a North American release date: November 25. The opening is still amazing. The premium edition is pretty nice, too. Shadow of the Labyrinth has won me over since its announcement -- or maybe it's just the dearth of Persona -- so I'm pretty ready.more
