I don't love fighting games because I suck at them. I usually try to avoid them for that very reason. But I'm enough of a brand whore to get drawn up in this Persona 4 fighter business that's been going on lately. I dunno. Allistair says that it's good, but it looks really complex. This new trailer from Atlus doesn't help much. Look at all the flashy sh*t going down! I don't know that I even get what's going on here.
Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena will suck in any fan of the RPG with its beautiful art and animation, which you'll see here. After seeing this trailer I just want to play as Chie all the time and spam that fist-to-ground move over and over. Oh, and why does Aegis look so angry?
I know there's plenty of characters we're not seeing. Even if I know I'm going to suck at this, I can't wait to see the rest of the cast in action.

My body is not ready, but goddamn am I excited for this. I hope they bring back the original dub cast when they publish this here. Maybe it's just me, but I ended up liking the dub VAs more than the ones they chose for the original Japanese.
Oh, ATLUS marry me already! This is shaping up to be an excellent game. Bit limited on the roster, but I suppose that means there will be a lot more focus on balancing. The fact you can dual team with your Persona is AMAZING!!!
Hopefully this game has some secret characters from the Persona teams' other games. 9 characters for a fighting game isn't very much these days. Probably won't happen, though.
Yosuke will be god tier. Is it just me or do the moves seem to be very similar to other fighting games done by Arc? Chie looks like Jam a bit with her special resembling one of Mu's Hyper Combos? Regardless, I am excite.

Honestly, I'm glad Atlus has been doing well lately, but this game seems really stupid, and I'm sad Atlus has made Persona its whore. I wish they would make a Persona 5 and have it follow more closely to P2.
Minato Arisato was the name of the P3 protagonist (in the manga). Yu Narukami is the P4 protagonist's name in the upcoming anime, so that's the name they're going with here.
Also, Persona is Atlus' most successful franchise, and sadly, Aegis/Aigis is their favorite character, which is surprising because the character designer didn't even want her in P3 to begin with, especially since P3's plot gets focused more and more on her as it progresses. I swear, Japan loves them some robotic wives (like Chobits, which I didn't like at all). Aigis is basically the robot from Chobits with a gun and I hate hate HATE her. >_<
And I know this is going to invite a lot of flaming, but... who the hell is "Charlie Tuna"?
